Photoshop Image Masking

Mask is a thing that covers the face, worn as a disguise. Well, Photoshop Image Masking is unlike the real mask, does a lot more for the image for the better, perfect view. Starting with the background removal until color correction with exposure are the objectives of the service. We use Photoshop and Pan Tablet (Wacom) to perfectly edit the image. Photoshop Image Masking is required or we can say mandatory on those images that contain soft and thin edges. Clipping Path Service is not appropriate more like not applicable as it cannot pass for those types of images. For hard edges, Clipping Path Service is Ok. Image Masking Photoshop has some advanced uses on background removal and to cut out/isolate the object from the background with critical edges.

Images contain closest colored background comparing the subject can be separated using Pen Tablet keeping the soft edges as they should be. This method is also used for blending hard area and the soft area accurately with the Photoshop tools such as airbrush size and sketching pressure. The service contains some categories. See them below with more details.

Layer Masking:

Layer Masking is applicable to the images on the layer by using a soft and refined edge with Pen Tablet. The target is to remove isolate background from the subject appropriately. This is basic among masking services whereas price varies considering the images along with the complexities.

Alpha Channel Masking:

Background with multiple objects along with the subject is the type of this service. We separate background by cut out subject then edit with Alpha channel Masking. Background with single color considering the subject makes the file size lighter for uploading and downloading.

Fur & Hair Masking:

Images with the subject containing hair or fur are the concerns of Fur & Hair Masking. These are very difficult or nearly impossible to separate from the background by Clipping Path Service. We use Pen Tablet for the soft edges to cut out a subject from the background, then apply color, contrast, brightness, exposure correction, etc. and put on new background with a natural look.

Refine Edge Masking:

Edge of the image is one of the most important parts to be edited with accuracy. We cut out the subject with Photoshop Quick Selection tool, apply Layer Mask & Refine Radius tool to soften the edge. We also use more than one background with different colors to clarify the image with better understanding.

Transparent Object Masking:

Light passes through the objects are known as transparent objects. Glass, spectacles, colorless glass bottle, etc. are the examples of this sort of objects. Generally, these objects have 0% to 5% opacity. We retain transparency to make visible background color by Transparent Object Masking Service.

Translucent Object Masking:

The objects that have 5% to 100% opacity is compatible with this service. Very little light pass through them but the background with different color can be seen from the front. Muslin fabric, tracing paper, sunglasses (without mercury), frosted glass, plastic bottle, etc. are examples of this type.

Object Masking:

Selecting unsuitable part of an image with Photoshop quick selection tool is the primary part of the service. After that, the layer mask is used to remove and masking applied. Mostly applicable to the images for removing deformations.

Color Masking:

Cut out the image by edges or outline instead of 1 or 2 pixels by avoiding the hollow line is Color Masking. Our experts use colors to cover up the subject keeping the shape unchanged. Also, the background is removed to match the subject.

We use the best techniques to perfectly edit the image subject that has soft edges, hair, fur, etc. by Pen Tablet (Wacom) for changing the background. Then correct light effect, image exposure, color tone, brightness, contrast, etc. for better effect. Our services are well reputed by e-commerce websites, magazines, advertisement agencies, model photographers, fashion houses and much more.
